Dr. Neha Choudhary is a highly skilled and certified Breast Surgeon trained at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, with a specialization in breast cancer surgery, breast conservation, and reconstruction. Holding an HBNI Breast Oncology Fellowship, an M.S. in General Surgery, and an M.B.B.S. (Gold Medalist), Dr. Neha Choudhary is dedicated exclusively to the field of breast surgery.

With expertise in the surgical management of both cancerous and non-cancerous breast conditions, including fibroadenoma and breast pain, Dr. Neha Choudhary is committed to advancing breast cancer awareness, screening, and hereditary breast cancer genetics in India.

Currently serving as a Consultant Breast Surgeon at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah, and Rabindranath Tagore Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Mukundapur, Dr. Neha Choudhary has presented research at numerous national and international platforms and maintains a strong interest in breast cancer research.

Dr. Neha has extensive experience in oncology, actively contributing to the development of a dedicated Breast Centre of Excellence modeled after the MD Anderson Breast Centre since January 2017. She completed a Fellowship in Breast Disease Management at the Department of Surgical Oncology, Tata Memorial Hospital (August 2014 – July 2016), where she was trained to independently manage major and minor surgeries, including breast conservation therapy (BCT), modified radical mastectomy (MRM), local flaps, implants, and therapeutic mammoplasties. Additionally, she gained expertise in minor procedures such as gun biopsies, sonolocalized excision biopsies, and microdochectomy. Her training included rotations in multiple disciplines, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, plastic surgery, head and neck oncology, and gynecological oncology. She also actively participated in clinical trials and patient data management at Tata Memorial Hospital.

Prior to her fellowship, she served as a Junior Resident (Postgraduate Trainee) in the Department of General Surgery at Medical College, Kolkata (June 2011 – June 2014). She also worked as a Resident Medical Officer at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, from March 2010 to July 2010, and later as a Resident Medical Officer in the Department of Surgical Oncology at the same hospital from March 2011 to April 2011. Her medical training began with a Compulsory Rotatory Internship at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, from March 2008 to March 2009, which laid the foundation for her specialization in surgical oncology. Her diverse training and hands-on experience have equipped her with the skills necessary to manage complex oncological cases with precision and expertise.
